Weekly Edit #7

Another summer weekend has come and gone! I’m so grateful to be out in the pool and enjoying this summer with friends and family — I hope you are enjoying it too! Our house reconstruction is underway, and we’re spending as much time outside as we can! I highly recommend exploring your local parks, state parks, etc. It’s been great to get away from the screens as much as possible!

Be sure to check out the rest of the website if you haven’t already! I’m looking forward to adding a few more jobs to my calendar - so if you need someone to come in and spruce up a closet, pantry or office, or help evaluate a space - please reach out! We’ll chat first, and then figure out the game plan!

Now, onto some of our favorite things from the last week, and this week’s organizing tip!

Food Lately:

Pasta with Shrimp, Corn and Tomatoes - this is an oldie but goodie! I served this with pull apart herbed bread for Father’s Day, and it was delicious. A great summer meal with bright flavor, and certainly adjustable to your taste, too.

Summer Salads! I’ve been doing pickled red onions, avocado, radishes, sunflower seeds, blue cheese, hard boiled egg, and strawberries on mixed greens - so delicious and filling.

GrandyOats granola - My new favorite Wegmans granola. I really have an addiction!

Last week was a LOT of grilled meat and corn, pasta salad, etc. Yum!

Things I Bought:

The Universal Thread line at Target has been hitting the mark this spring. I’m living in this top and just a lot of cute basics! And this sweater is SO cozy on a rainy day - love the colors! Both tops really give me J. Crew vibes.

Headbands - Nothing keeps my hair and look under control better than a headband. I just FEEL more put together! This is one of my new favorites :)

Organizing Tip of the Week!

Set a timer! I like to set a 10 minute timer and do a walkthrough of the room that I need to tackle. I put as much as I can away and it’s always surprising how much better the room looks in a short amount of time. Especially if it’s a room that kids are in - you KNOW it gets messy quick.
